Competition Rules

The competition takes place in a virtual environment, where participants perform all stages of CPR—including chest compressions, artificial respiration, and AED use—based on a simulated cardiac arrest patient.

Evaluation Metrics

Accuracy

Evaluates the precision of CPR techniques with feedback provided on compression depth, speed, and ventilation rate through specific metrics.

Compression Speed and Depth

Chest compression speed should be 100–120 compressions per minute, with a depth of approximately 5-6 cm. The virtual system measures and assesses these metrics in real time.

AED Usage

Assesses adherence to proper procedures for using the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED).

Ventilation Management

Evaluates whether the virtual patient’s chest rises adequately during artificial respiration.

Time Management

Assesses how quickly CPR is initiated in an emergency and the appropriateness of time spent on each stage.
